Key Responsibilities
The teacher will be responsible for delivering English and Drama across both Primary and Secondary, including IGCSE English, IGCSE Drama, and A Level Drama. They will direct and produce a full musical theatre production with students and lead the annual end-of-year Primary show. The role includes establishing and running extracurricular drama and performance clubs, creating engaging and differentiated lessons to support diverse learners, accurately assessing and reporting on student progress, collaborating with colleagues to strengthen the performing arts programme, and actively participating in the wider school community.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must hold qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent) and a degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, English, or a related field. Experience teaching IGCSE English/Drama and the ability to deliver A Level Drama are essential. Applicants should have proven experience directing school productions or large-scale performances, strong classroom management and communication skills, and ideally experience working across multiple age phases. Familiarity with international education is considered an advantage.
